SOCOTEC Geotechnics provides comprehensive advice in geotechnics, geohydrology, environmental science, and environmental impact assessments. We start with thorough soil investigations to accurately map soil conditions, followed by specialized foundation advice. Our expertise is utilized in residential construction, infrastructure (roads, bridges, tunnels), dikes, waterworks, and large urban construction projects. We also design construction pits and sheet piles, perform detailed stability calculations, and assess environmental effects on adjacent properties through risk analyses and suitable management measures. Additionally, SOCOTEC Geotechnics conducts geomonitoring work, including extensive groundwater monitoring networks and support for foundation and earthworks.

We are looking for a Geotechnical Drilling Master, either junior or senior, for our location in Vijfhuizen. If you don’t fully meet the profile but are interested in the work and have a technical affinity, we invite you to apply as a drilling assistant, where you will learn from an experienced drilling master.

Responsibilities:

• Independently conduct soil soundings.
• Install various measuring instruments such as piezometers and water pressure gauges.
• Occasionally perform small drilling and/or land surveying tasks independently.
• Carry out all tasks expected for this role.

Requirements:

• Relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of applicable standards.
• Driving License B (C/E and Code 95 are a plus but not required).
• A valid VOL-VCA certificate.
• Attention to safety and the environment.
• A flexible attitude and independence.
• Excellent command of the Dutch language.
• Resident in the Haarlemmermeer/Vijfhuizen region.
