What You Will Do During This Internship

• Welcome guests with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude.
• Check guests in and out, providing a smooth arrival and departure experience.
• Answer guest questions and provide information about the hotel and Amsterdam.
• Handle guest requests and assist in resolving any issues or complaints.
• Assist guests with reservations, changes, and cancellations.
• Answer telephone calls, emails, and other guest inquiries.
• Prepare for daily arrivals and departures.
• Check reservations and special requests to ensure everything is ready for guests.
• Learn and work with the hotel’s reservation and Front Office systems.
• Process payments and assist with cashier and administrative tasks.
• Communicate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and other departments.
• Follow up on guest requests to ensure they are handled correctly.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
• Assist with the smooth running of the Front Office during your shift.
• Learn to manage different guest situations and find appropriate solutions.
• Contribute to creating a fun and personal Moxy guest experience.
• Help make Residence Inn guests feel at home, especially those staying for longer periods.
• Learn about hotel safety procedures and emergency protocols.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and other hotel projects.
• Work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Who Are You?

• You are eager to learn and creative.
• You master the English language; Dutch is a plus.
• You are pursuing a relevant MBO/HBO study (hotel, facility, tourism).
• You are sociable and enjoy working in a diverse team.
