An established games studio is seeking a freelance Linux engineer with a strong background in data centres and experience in supporting streaming infrastructure. In this role, you will maintain and improve the environment, troubleshoot performance issues, and automate operational tasks.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting Linux servers and services, resolving streaming performance issues across networks, servers, and storage, and supporting both physical and virtualised data centre infrastructure. Additionally, you will automate provisioning, configuration, and maintenance processes, improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response, and collaborate with technical teams while maintaining clear documentation.
