The Role
As a Freelance Content Coordinator, you will support AIGN's activities through content creation, event coordination, and member communication in a remote capacity. Your daily tasks will include drafting and updating communications for job offers and events, preparing materials for workshops and conferences, and maintaining accurate information on digital platforms. You will collaborate with AIGN staff and volunteers to promote community engagement, collect and organize member data, and assist with logistics for online or hybrid events. Additionally, you may help design and improve digital resources and tools that support networking and professional development for members, ensuring all activities align with AIGN's mission and standards.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, professional messages and event materials.
- Experience with remote work tools and digital platforms (e.g., email marketing tools, collaboration software, video conferencing applications).
- Organizational and coordination abilities, including managing schedules, tracking tasks, and supporting event logistics.
- Basic skills in digital content creation (e.g., simple document design, presentation creation, or social media posts) are beneficial.
- Interest or background in nature management, environmental studies, or a related field is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate proactively with a distributed team.
- Prior experience with non-profit organizations, member-based associations, or community management is a plus.
