The Role

As an Offshore Energy Fleet Trainee at Boskalis in Papendrecht, you will be involved in ensuring the smooth operation of vessels crucial for offshore projects. Your role will encompass performance, maintenance, compliance, and improvement of our offshore fleet operating worldwide.

You will work on engineering and operational projects within our offshore fleet department, with some projects beginning in the office before moving to shipyards or project locations abroad. You will also support day-to-day fleet operations alongside technical superintendents and may gain onboard experience during projects, enhancing your understanding of offshore construction and installation activities. Your tasks may include preparing maintenance and modification projects, supporting vessel conversions, and assisting in technical management of vessels.

The Programme

The 12-month Fleet Traineeship is designed to prepare you for roles such as Technical Superintendent or Project Engineer within our offshore fleet organization. You will set personal and professional development goals, complete two tailored assignments, and work closely with experienced colleagues while receiving mentorship and training.

Qualifications

You are eager to start your career with Boskalis and have:

• A BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• An affinity for offshore operations, vessels, or technical systems.
• Willingness to travel abroad for extended periods and work flexible hours.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
