Coopman Search & Selection is collaborating with a prominent aircraft leasing platform to recruit a Financial Accountant. This position is ideal for finance professionals eager to advance their careers in a fast-paced aviation leasing setting. You will be part of a small, entrepreneurial team managing a diverse portfolio of aviation assets across various jurisdictions.

The Role

You will play a crucial role in supporting the budget and control cycle across investor and group entities, preparing financial reports, and assisting with invoicing processes. Your responsibilities will include managing incoming invoices, supporting the monthly close process, and ensuring tax compliance across multiple entities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the budget and control cycle for investor and group entities, including consolidated budgets and forecasts. • Prepare reports for investors and management on actual cash revenues and expenses compared to budget and prior projections. • Manage outgoing invoicing processes, including intercompany transactions. • Accurately process and manage incoming invoices. • Support the monthly closing process and prepare local financial results, addressing related queries. • Collaborate with local tax advisors to ensure tax compliance across entities. • Assist in preparing financial statements and audits with external auditors and corporate service providers. • Contribute to the enhancement of financial controls, processes, and reporting across the organization.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or administrative roles. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Strong understanding of accounting processes, financial controls, and reporting cycles. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Familiarity with databases and document management systems is a plus. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality. • Proactive and self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication skills in business English (both written and verbal). • Basic Dutch language skills are an advantage. • Experience in aviation or aircraft leasing is beneficial but not required.
