As a FIM Operations Technician, you will lead offshore interventions while managing operations remotely from our Central Control Room in Den Helder. This position combines technical problem-solving with operational leadership, ensuring the safety and reliability of North Sea operations.
The Role
You will alternate between preparing and supervising offshore campaigns, responding to operational issues, and monitoring production from the control room. Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading offshore interventions and preparing the scope of planned campaigns with the Area Superintendent.
- Managing a team of 3–6 during interventions on unmanned offshore installations.
- Coordinating local control room activities and resolving technical issues.
- Validating Permits to Work and taking charge of emergency response leadership.
- Maintaining clear communication with the onshore organization and Central Control Room.
- Monitoring offshore facilities through integrated control and safety systems, analyzing operating trends, and taking corrective action as needed.
- Ensuring production and gas delivery meet targets while coordinating with pipeline operators and commercial colleagues.
