Field Service Engineer/Commissioning Agent – Hyperscale Data Centres. Do you have expertise in servicing UPS, generators, switchgear, or cooling plants? This role allows you to test and approve entire hyperscale data centres rather than just individual components. We are hiring for a prominent European commissioning provider involved in some of the largest data centre projects in Europe. Acting as the owner's representative, you will work on the client’s side, ensuring that every critical system is properly installed, tested, and ready for operation.
The Role
You will be responsible for commissioning mission-critical electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS, generators, STS, PDUs, switchgear, BMS/BAS, and HVAC. Your tasks will include:
- Conducting QA/QC of equipment installation and construction observations.
- Writing functional test plans, start-up, and commissioning procedures.
- Running tests on-site to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
- Reviewing designs, analyzing test data, and preparing technical reports.
- Collaborating with vendors and contractors to resolve on-site issues.
- Assisting in training operations and maintenance teams prior to handover.
