• Bachelor’s degree required, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of four years of combined experience in areas such as weather reporting, equipment operation, cargo movement, and expedition outfitting in polar climates.
• At least two years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• CPR and Wilderness First Responder Certification.
• Incident Command System (ICS) 100 and 200 certifications required (training provided).

• Two seasons of experience in Arctic/Antarctica with direct experience in a polar field camp is preferred.

• Willingness and ability to deploy to Antarctica for extended periods.
• Successful completion of medical and dental examinations required by the NSF.
• Successful completion of drug screening and background checks.
• Ability to lift and move items as required, perform physical activities including heavy lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in extreme cold.
• Participation in community programs is expected.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• U.S. Citizenship required for access and facility credentials.
