In this role, you will be instrumental in introducing new facility designs for (new) factories, contributing to timely and high-quality delivery. You will assist customers in preparing for EUV by reviewing and delivering technical documentation. Occasionally, you will visit customer sites to provide knowledge transfers, resolve technical issues, and share best practices with local teams. You may also act as second-line support for production engineering in the ASML factory.

About the Company

The EUV Factory is responsible for the production and installation of EUV machines. New products from D&E are transferred to the factory for volume production and are continuously optimized before shipment to customers.

The Role

As a Factory Preparation Engineer, you will be part of a technical excellence center that influences design decisions made by D&E to ensure factory preparation. Your responsibilities include defining and influencing processes and tools to secure volume factory preparation. You will create, release, and maintain the HVM Pre Install Package, which includes: • Installation Requirements Manual • Pre-Install Manual • Utility Data Sheets • Technical Drawings

At customer sites, you will present the details of new or updated Pre-install Packages and support local Customer Support offices and the ASML factory with your expertise. To ensure quality and completeness, you will audit customer factory preparations before the arrival of new systems and initiate improvement proposals based on experiences from customers and the ASML fab.

Depending on the process phase, you may need to review and write procedures, sequences, and checklists for interconnect materials and provide second-line support for infra and interconnects in our Veldhoven ASML factory. As part of a growing and dynamic team, you will help prepare and support organizational changes as the number of customers and machine types increases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a field combining project management and technical disciplines, such as Industrial Engineering and Design.
• 3-5 years of technical experience in an engineering role, preferably with customer exposure.
