The Role

Atithi Indian Restaurants is a chain of casual fine-dining Indian restaurants, renowned for our exceptional food, service, and ambiance across various cities in the Netherlands. In this role, you will independently manage the kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and hygiene while leading a small team.

The Role

As a Chef, you will oversee the daily kitchen activities, ensuring the efficient preparation of dishes and adherence to safety regulations. Your responsibilities will include managing stock and orders, maintaining cleanliness, and proposing improvements to kitchen processes.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and prepare dishes following regulations (HACCP, safety, etc.) and recipes.
  • Ensure efficient kitchen processes and high-quality food preparation for guest satisfaction.
  • Manage stock levels, placing timely orders, and ensuring proper storage according to the FIFO principle.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen as per safety regulations.
  • Provide proposals for improvements and optimizations in kitchen operations.
  • Handle physical demands of the role, including lifting and working under pressure during peak times.

Requirements

  • Permanent residence in EU/EEA/Switzerland.
  • MBO Level-3 in Horeca.
