The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our establishment. This role requires a strong leader who can manage staff, ensure high-quality service, and maintain operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop budgets to assess costs for food, ingredients, alcohol, and supplies.
  • Evaluate daily operations and monitor revenues to manage labor costs.
  • Plan and organize daily activities while recruiting and scheduling staff.
  • Supervise and train team members, conducting performance reviews.
  • Balance cash and prepare financial reports and related documentation.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for food and other necessary supplies.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in restaurant management.
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or non-university program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Safe Food Handling and Food Safety Certificates.
  • Proficiency with point of sale systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and ability to multitask.
