The Role
In a nutshell
Products are at the heart of our business, and we strive to provide the best product range to ensure top quality. As a Category Buyer, you will take full ownership of your category, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction and boost profitability. At Picnic, we operate in a data-driven and complex environment, facing continuous challenges and opportunities in areas such as pricing strategies, forecasting, and warehouse automation. We are looking for an ambitious buyer with excellent category management and negotiation skills, who can establish lasting relationships with suppliers. If you have innovative ideas, we encourage you to share them with your team, refine them, evaluate, experiment, and make a significant impact on our company!
You will be responsible for defining negotiation strategies, conducting supplier negotiations, and developing a deep understanding of your category using Picnic data, customer insights, and supplier feedback. You will identify commercial opportunities and implement a data-driven approach to category innovations, while also collaborating with your team to enhance product quality and profitability.
