The Role

Atithi Indian Restaurants is a chain of casual fine-dining Indian restaurants that provides exceptional food, service, and ambiance across various cities in the Netherlands. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen, working independently with the support of one or two part-time assistants.

The Role

You will oversee the preparation and presentation of dishes while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Your responsibilities include managing stock, placing orders, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and prepare dishes according to regulations (HACCP, safety, etc.) and work instructions (recipes, etc.).
  • Ensure efficient kitchen processes and maintain high quality for guest satisfaction.
  • Manage stock levels, ensuring timely orders and correct storage based on the FIFO principle.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with safety regulations and schedules.
  • Propose and implement improvements for kitchen operations and accountability.
  • Handle adverse conditions such as lifting heavy items and managing work pressure during peak times.

Requirements

  • Permanent residence in the EU/EEA/Switzerland.
  • MBO Level-3 in Horeca.
