Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic 3/4 to join our diverse team at Leeuwarden Base in the Netherlands.

De rol

In this position, you will be responsible for installing and modifying aircraft components, repairing structural defects, and interpreting technical documentation. You will work with various aircraft materials and utilize precision measuring instruments.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Install detail parts such as shims, splices, and brackets.
• Modify major structural components and composite parts, ensuring precise fit and adherence to specifications.
• Repair metallic and composite structural damages due to operations and corrosion.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
• Utilize tools including drills, angle motors, and pneumatic riveters.
• Verify the application of installed materials and perform necessary corrective actions.
• Collaborate with team members on depot-level modifications and flight line support.

Vereisten

• Level 3: High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of airframes/sheet metal experience.
• Level 4: High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of airframes/sheet metal experience.
• One year of experience in aircraft corrosion mitigation.
• Active Secret Clearance or higher (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds and performing repetitive movements.
• Flexibility to work extended shifts, holidays, weekends, and on-call status.

Gewenst

• One year of experience in F-35 TEIR 2 Corrosion mitigation.
• DoD Intermediate level sheet metal/structures/airframes experience.
• Experience with heavy modifications or aircraft resets.

Wat we bieden

• Primary Salary Range: $60,500.00 - $100,900.00
• Secondary Salary Range: $71,900.00 - $119,900.00
• Eligibility for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses.
