The CID (Cable Installation Delivery) Equipment Engineer is an integral member of the Equipment team, directly reporting to the Yard Supervisor and functionally to the Technical Superintendent Equipment. Based at our Eemshaven base in the Netherlands, you will collaborate with the CID equipment team to ensure that equipment assets are delivered to the business on time, at the right location, and meet operational standards.

The Role

You will assist with planning, maintenance, upgrades, modifications, and CAPEX development, ensuring compliance with applicable policies. Your responsibilities will also include supporting vessel mobilization activities to ensure equipment is prepared and fit for purpose.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Equipment team to enhance integration into Seaway7's operational processes and embed the ETM program.
Provide technical expertise on CID systems and Foundation installation equipment as required.
Liaise with Offshore Resources Group Technical Authorities for engineering support.
Coordinate with third-party equipment service providers to ensure compliance with Subsea7 requirements.
Participate in routine reviews of Maintenance & Repair scopes with vessel teams.
Ensure timely and accurate inputs (specifications, budget, schedule) are provided to stakeholders and project managers.
Assist in creating Mechanical/Hydraulic Technical Information Notes (TINs).
Support continuous improvement efforts across all areas.
Analyze CID and Foundation installation equipment performance and implement technical improvements.
Contribute to developing PMS implementation procedures.
Manage budget constraints for CID cable installation equipment operations.
Interface with OEM and equipment service engineers.
Collaborate with external contractors to optimize maintenance regimes.
Work with SCM and Logistics to ensure timely spare parts requisitions.
Assist in developing and executing maintenance, upgrade, and modification plans for asset reliability.
Support CAPEX proposals and business cases for equipment improvements.
Coordinate equipment and vessel mobilization activities for project readiness.
Maintain and apply the Planned Maintenance System (TMM) for efficient asset upkeep.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Identify, escalate, and communicate technical risks and opportunities to local management.
Contribute to a positive HSEQ culture and ensure adherence to HSEQ codes and practices.
