As an Environmental Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing all environmental aspects of your projects. Your responsibilities include ensuring timely and careful stakeholder involvement and translating relevant interests into concrete actions within the project team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an environmental strategy, environmental plan, and communication and participation approach.
- Conduct stakeholder analyses and actively maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Act as a connecting link between project organizations, residents, businesses, municipalities, provinces, water boards, network operators, and other partners.
- Organize and facilitate participation, information, and consultation processes.
- Engage in discussions with residents, entrepreneurs, interest groups, officials, and other stakeholders.
- Identify and manage environmental risks, resistance, opportunities, and political sensitivities.
- Translate wishes, requirements, and interests from the environment into the project.
- Oversee permits, planning procedures, and other conditioning activities.
- Advise project managers, project leaders, and IPM teams on societal, political, and communication issues.
- Evaluate and monitor the environmental approach during tendering and realization.
- Ensure effective information exchange between the project organization and the environment.
You will not only focus on communication but also share responsibility for the feasibility and support of the project.
