G2 is currently in search of an EHS Officer to join their team on a permanent basis, located near Maastricht in the Limburg region of the Netherlands. This position will focus on a chemical manufacturing plant, and any prior experience in chemical or SEVESO environments would be highly advantageous. As a chemical manufacturing plant operator, the client is dedicated to enhancing operational safety, maintenance, and the management of their HSE/HSEQ systems. This major international client requires the EHS Officer to oversee safety on-site, collaborate with local teams, and implement international safety procedures. The role also involves cooperation with sites globally and may require occasional travel to facilities in Belgium.

Specification:

• Technical background in EHS
• Certifications such as IVK, MVK, PA2, NEBOSH, or equivalent
• Experience in operational process plants, particularly in chemical, energy, or manufacturing sectors
• Prior experience in chemical manufacturing is highly beneficial
• Knowledge of HSE/QMS management systems
• Strong understanding of behavior-based safety management
• Proficiency in English and Dutch
