The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled End-to-End Communications Systems Engineer to work on-site at ESTEC in the Netherlands. You will be responsible for maintaining and further developing the Section’s Simulation and Analysis Tools, designing, implementing, testing, and validating new simulation capabilities and analytical functions. You will ensure the reliability, performance, and documentation of simulation software and tools, support international standardization activities focused on CCSDS standards, and contribute to the definition and implementation of relevant technical standards.

Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance the Section’s Simulation and Analysis Tools.
Design, implement, test, and validate new simulation capabilities and analytical functions.
Ensure reliability, performance, and documentation of simulation software and tools.
Support international standardization activities, focusing on CCSDS standards.
Contribute to the definition, review, and implementation of technical standards.
Perform simulations and analyses to support mission development activities.
Support mission studies, trade-off analyses, and system performance assessments.
Conduct simulations and technical analyses for R&D programs.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations based on analytical results.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and stakeholders across projects.
