Your role will focus on finding innovative solutions for low-emission livestock housing and manure storage facilities. As a measurement technician, you will bridge research and practice by conducting measurements at various livestock farming locations across the country.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site measurements in livestock farming environments.
• Process and analyze collected data.
• Maintain measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.

You will provide expert input for project plans and ensure that measurements align with agreed criteria. By combining data with your observations and practical insights, you will maintain close contact with both researchers and livestock farmers.

About the Company

You will be part of the Air Quality Laboratory (AQL) within the Emissions and Manure Valorisation department at Wageningen University & Research. This department conducts practice-oriented research aimed at a healthier environment and sustainable livestock farming, collaborating with a diverse team of around 40 colleagues.

Requirements

• Relevant higher professional education (HBO) in livestock farming, the environment, or engineering, with a strong affinity for data processing. Candidates with a senior secondary vocational education (MBO) qualification and suitable work experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Interest in livestock farming and awareness of environmental developments.
• Fluency in Dutch and possession of a Category B driving license (preferably also a Category BE license).
