The Role

As an Email Copywriter, you'll be responsible for developing copy for campaigns and flows that drive customer retention and engagement. You'll work closely with the co-founders, gaining insights from their extensive experience in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Write compelling email copy for various ecommerce brands, focusing on subscription and health/wellness sectors.
• Create concise, impactful messages, typically under 200 words, ensuring every line serves a purpose.
• Adapt to different brand voices and tones, sometimes within the same day.
• Extend your writing to SMS and other retention channels, enhancing the customer experience.
• Collaborate with strategists to transform briefs into effective copy that converts.
• Conduct in-depth research on brands, products, and competitors to inform your writing.
• Utilize AI tools for drafting while maintaining a human touch in your messaging.
• Stay updated on trends in email, SMS, and the DTC landscape.

Requirements

• Proven experience in email marketing copywriting, either in an agency or in-house setting.
• 3+ years of experience in fast-paced environments requiring adaptability and high volume.
• Strong ability to shift between different brand personalities convincingly.
• Experience managing multiple accounts and workstreams without compromising quality.
• Understanding of the differences between writing campaigns and flows.
• Familiarity with tools like Notion, Slack, and Figma or Miro.
• Availability for daily overlap with UK working hours.
