In the rapidly expanding small satellite sector, we are seeking a motivated Electronics Assembly Technician (IPC Soldering) at the entry level to join our Manufacturing Assembly, Integration and Testing department. This role places you at the core of our manufacturing efforts, concentrating on the creation of electronic subsystems for our missions.

The Role

You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, production, and quality, to produce subsystems and proactively identify and resolve manufacturability challenges throughout the product lifecycle. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring that flight hardware and ground support equipment adhere to space-grade manufacturing, material, and reliability standards while remaining cost-effective.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-precision soldering of components for space subsystems, adhering to stringent quality and reliability standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
• Follow established procedures and work instructions to maintain consistency and compliance with industry standards.
• Inspect solder joints and assemblies for defects, ensuring compliance with IPC Class 3 and space-level requirements.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely task completion and continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in line with company and industry safety protocols.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Vocational education or equivalent experience in electronics, soldering, or a related technical field.
• Entry-level position; prior experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for precise soldering tasks.
• Eagerness to learn and develop new skills, with a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and work instructions in English.
• Basic understanding of PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) is beneficial.
