We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical QA/QC Lead to enhance our team, focusing on major Data Centre projects across Europe with a 3&1 rotation schedule. In this role, you will report to the QA Manager and be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and quality control activities related to MV/LV cable installation works.

The Role

As the Electrical QA/QC Lead, you will manage inspections, coordinate quality processes, and liaise with clients and contractors to ensure all installations meet project specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC activities for MV and LV cable installation, glanding, and termination works.
• Conduct inspections of completed works to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain and manage inspection records using MTM's bespoke QA application and BIM platforms.
• Liaise with clients and electrical contractors to ensure QA documentation is submitted according to project requirements and handover milestones.
• Identify, track, and resolve quality issues that may affect project progress.
• Collaborate with QA and Construction teams to implement corrective and preventative actions based on inspections and snag lists.
• Promote best practices, innovative installations, and quality standards among site teams.
• Assist with weekly and monthly QA audits, toolbox talks, and quality-focused initiatives.
• Manage QA-related communications and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
• Ensure all QA activities are tracked to completion to support project deadlines and successful handover.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a QA/QC role within the electrical construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of MV and LV cable installation, glanding, and termination practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize workload and meet project deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes pressurized environment.
• Strong leadership skills to support, guide, and influence site teams.
• Prior experience on Data Centre projects is an advantage.
• Fluent in written and spoken English (minimum C2 level).
• EU citizenship or visa-free travel eligibility within the EEA.
