In this position, you will oversee the primary electromechanical design of high-voltage installations that strengthen the electricity network. As a Primary Electrical Engineer High Voltage/Substation Engineer, you will translate complex requirements into feasible designs for GIS substations, including lightning protection, short-circuit forces, and grounding. You will work on projects lasting 1-2 years with fixed scope, budget, and planning, coordinating with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. A core aspect of your role involves 3D system design in Revit, integrating grid stabilization systems, and verifying execution with a direct impact on energy transition and grid stability.

You will join an international technical service provider in the high voltage sector within the sustainable energy industry. This organization delivers products and systems for grid automation and integration, designing and constructing complete transformer stations and substations. Projects typically last around 1-2 years and are executed in close collaboration with national grid operators and specialized subcontractors. The focus is on the reliability of the electricity grid, integration of renewable energy, and further digitization of the network. Engineers work in a multidisciplinary and project-based manner with clear scope, planning, and budget monitoring.

• Designing electromechanical high-voltage installations and grid stabilization systems, including outdoor setups and GIS technology;
• Modeling intelligent 3D systems in Revit in accordance with standards, customer requirements, and local regulations;
• Integrating lightning protection, short-circuit forces, grounding, and cable routes into the primary design;
• Optimizing designs based on technology, customer requirements, budget, and applicable standards;
• Evaluating offers, risks, costs, and planning from design to execution;
• Coordinating disciplines and suppliers while ensuring clear agreements and progress.
