The rapid growth of AI, cloud computing, and hyperscale infrastructure is transforming the data centre industry—and we're looking for an experienced Electrical Design Manager to help shape the next generation of mission-critical facilities.

As the Electrical Design Manager, you'll provide technical leadership across major mission-critical developments, working closely with clients, contractors, and internal engineering teams to deliver resilient, efficient, and innovative electrical infrastructure. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on engineering, making it ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring teams while remaining involved in solving complex technical challenges.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Lead the electrical design of large-scale data centre projects from concept through to construction and commissioning.
• Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Remain technically involved, providing expert guidance on critical electrical design decisions.
• Review and approve electrical calculations, reports, specifications, and design documentation.
• Drive value engineering and innovative design solutions for mission-critical environments.
• Act as the technical lead during client meetings, design workshops, and project reviews.
• Support installation, commissioning, and site activities where required.
• Mentor and develop engineers within the wider design team.

Vereisten

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (Master's advantageous).
• Around 8-10 years' experience delivering electrical design for mission-critical or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • MV & LV power distribution
  • Transformers
  • UPS systems
  • Standby generation
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing complex project delivery.
• Understanding of cooling systems, BMS/EMS, and wider data centre infrastructure.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Fluent French and English are essential.
