The Role

As a Service Parts Repair Planner & Circular Equipment, you will serve as a crucial link between the SP&R organization at Factory Best and the Service Parts Supply Chain (SPS), engaging closely with our customer, SPS. Your primary responsibility will be to manage repair orders from SPS end-to-end, which includes collaborating on forecasts and planning, receiving defects, coordinating in-house and third-party repair planning, and ensuring timely and complete delivery back to SPS.

The Role

You will drive demand forecasts from SPS to Factory Best, as well as for vendors needing parts for repair. You will prioritize repairs in consultation with SPS and issue production schedules to the shop floor. Your objective is to maintain a healthy balance between supply and demand in the short and mid-term, optimizing inventory and sales while meeting SPS's expectations for timely deliveries and supporting sustainable business growth.

You will be responsible for developing more predictable planning processes and enhancing productivity. Proactivity in driving supply chain improvements will be key to your success. Your focus will be on all service parts repair planning activities for Factory Best, which consists of approximately 30% IGT and 70% MR. Depending on factory workload and prioritization, you may also support the Circular Equipment factory in planning and supply chain enhancements.

  • Collaborate daily with SP&R operations, manufacturing engineering, BIU ISC OMM buyers/planners, and SPS.
  • Keep stakeholders engaged and aligned on planning and execution priorities, balancing sales and supply dynamics and managing exceptions as needed.
  • Identify and implement inventory optimization across the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Improve execution in forecast and delivery accuracy, ensuring reliability of customer delivery dates, and strengthen operational planning capabilities at all levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., supply & demand planning, supply chain management, operational material management) or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or operational material management in a global multinational environment.
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement, problem-solving, Daily Management, and Lean principles.
  • Ability to listen to stakeholder needs and manage relationships effectively.
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo and navigating resistance pragmatically.
  • Results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on learning mentality.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, proficient in MS Office, and data visualization tools like Power BI and QlikSense.
  • Proven experience with SAP (PP/MM) or another ERP system is preferred.
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English, both verbal and written (other languages are a plus).
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions within your scope.
  • Preferable knowledge of medical Quality Management Systems and relevant ISO standards.

This is a part-time position for 32 hours per week on a 1-year contract, with the possibility of extension after evaluation.
