Linde Gas Benelux B.V. is seeking a Mechanical Technician - Rotating to join our team in IJmuiden, Netherlands. In this role, you will independently solve malfunctions, execute small projects, and carry out emergency repairs. You will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of valves, rotating equipment, and static equipment, including more extensive repairs at scheduled times such as dismantling/assembly, replacing parts, and adjusting components. You will guide contractors, inspect their work, and maintain larger rotating machines and pumps, which includes connecting, testing, commissioning, and decommissioning equipment, as well as assembling and dismantling rotating parts. Additionally, you will test equipment after replacements and provide suggestions for improvements to technical situations while preparing execution orders in the workshop using various hand tools and machines.

Requirements

• MTS level qualification and willingness to undergo training
• Proficient with computers and capable of creating reports
• Strong emphasis on safety with a full VCA certificate
• Fluency in English or Dutch
• Risk assessment skills and problem-solving abilities
• Initiative, cooperation, and a proactive attitude
