We are seeking a Business Continuity & Information Security Management Specialist to join a large-scale, mission-critical network managed services program supporting a major European institution. In this role, you will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to manage complex infrastructure environments, including network, security, data center, and collaboration systems across multiple sites.

The Role

This position encompasses two primary areas: Business Continuity / Service Continuity Management (BCMS) and Information Security Management (ISMS).

Responsibilities

Business Continuity / Service Continuity (BCMS)

• Serve as the primary contact for continuity topics among internal teams and stakeholders.
• Lead crisis management escalation processes.
• Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP).
• Ensure Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) are met and suggest improvements.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation actions.
• Plan and execute continuity testing exercises.
• Maintain and audit documentation and processes.
• Ensure alignment with corporate continuity policies.
• Deliver training and awareness sessions.
• Contribute to organization-wide continuity exercises.
• Manage communication and escalation during incidents.
• Define and track annual continuity workplans.

Information Security Management (ISMS)

• Define and implement an information security strategy in line with corporate standards.
• Establish and maintain security policies and governance frameworks.
• Conduct risk assessments, gap analyses, and business impact analyses.
• Recommend and oversee the implementation of security controls.
• Manage security incident processes, including prevention, detection, and response.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and follow up on mitigation efforts.
• Monitor and report on security KPIs and metrics.
• Promote security awareness across teams.
• Ensure compliance of services with security policies.
• Develop security plans for managed services.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, auditors, and security authorities.
• Support the selection and implementation of security tools.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in security services.
• At least 3 years in Information Security Management.
• Experience in business/service continuity management (minimum 3 years).
• Mandatory certifications: ISO 27001 / ISO 27xxx, ISO 22301 / ISO 223xx.

Technical Knowledge

• Security domains: firewalls, proxies, reverse proxies, load balancers, remote access.
• Risk management and compliance frameworks.
• Audit and ISMS lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with network environments (e.g., SD-WAN is a plus).
