The Role

Join our product development team to tackle the challenges of map delivery for autonomous vehicles. You will engage in map compilation, transformation, and packaging within a safety-critical context, utilizing your software development expertise to solve complex algorithmic and mathematical problems, ensuring timely delivery of optimized map data globally.

The Role

You will design, implement, and maintain services for map delivery in a distributed, cloud-first environment. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Collaborating on and contributing to software architecture with a focus on operational efficiency.
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on code from team members based on established standards.
  • Understanding and contributing to service requirements and customer expectations.
  • Driving improvements in service delivery capabilities and processes.
  • Maintaining a security-focused approach by consistently implementing best practices.
  • Aiming to achieve service level agreements (SLAs) and proactively resolving impediments.
  • Enhancing your knowledge of programming, development practices, and the broader business context.
  • Collaborating within an agile team and fostering partnerships across teams.
  • Taking advantage of growth opportunities as the team evolves.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in professional software development.
  • Proficiency in Java (experience with Spring is a plus).
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (Azure is a plus).
  • Strong team player mentality.
