Are you passionate about working behind the scenes of live performances? Do you thrive in a dynamic touring environment with video systems, LED screens, and show control technology? For the upcoming Holiday on Ice touring season 2026-2027, we are seeking a skilled and proactive Video Technician.

The Role

As a Video Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of all video and related electrical systems, ensuring the show runs seamlessly from load-in to showtime. You will tour across Belgium, Germany, Austria, France, and the Netherlands, facing new challenges at each venue.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment.
• Conduct visual and performance quality checks.
• Inspect mountings of electrical equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Operate video media servers and DMX control systems.
• Adjust video mapping and content based on venue requirements.
• Manage and support transportation during load-in and load-out.
• Provide hands-on support for all activities related to building and executing the show.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in building and operating video walls, projectors, and media server platforms.
• Audio-visual qualification preferred.
• IPAF licence 1a, 3a, and 3b.
• Ability to maintain, use, fix, and test hand and power tools, lighting fixtures, and ohmmeters/voltmeters.
• Understanding of technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Physically fit (no vertigo or colour blindness).
• Stress-resilient with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.
• Availability from October 2026 to April 2027.
