You will have a mobile position (your home is your base) with a work area in Groningen, managed from our headquarters in Groningen.

Wat ga je doen?

You will work independently from home, responsible for all electronic equipment, analyzers, and instrumentation of our gas transport network. Together with your colleagues, you ensure the safe operation of our network daily.

Jouw Takenpakket Bestaat Uit

• Operating and performing (preventive) maintenance on electronic equipment and instrumentation, including data transmission systems of our gas transport network.
• Testing and commissioning new systems and equipment; troubleshooting any issues.
• Performing tasks on metering equipment.
• Ensuring timely and accurate (technical) administration.
• Resolving issues with our E&I systems (you will be on call for troubleshooting approximately one week every four weeks).

After an intensive onboarding and training program (averaging 2 years), you will be capable of executing maintenance tasks effectively and:

• Act as an inspection-authorized person for explosion safety (ATEX).
• Act as a qualified person for Low Voltage Electrical Operations NEN 3140.
• Serve as a certified inspector for flow measurements for Gasunie.
• Participate in project teams (commissioning) aimed at testing delivered projects.

Wat breng jij mee?

• A technical diploma at MBO-4 level (formerly MTS), preferably in Electrical Engineering.
• Work experience as an electrician in a professional maintenance organization.
• Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
• A valid VCA-VOL certificate or willingness to obtain one shortly.
• A valid driving license B and the willingness to travel frequently.
• Availability and ability to participate in on-call duties (approximately once every four weeks).
• Residing in the Groningen area or willing to relocate.

As a person, you are comfortable in an independent and solitary role, but you excel in situations requiring collaboration. You are results-oriented and safety-conscious, ensuring clear communication and keeping others informed about the progress of your work. You have the ability to work accurately and carefully for extended periods, paying attention to detail and adhering to agreed procedures.

• A salary ranging from €3,674 to €5,327 gross per month (scale 50/55; depending on your knowledge and experience) based on a full-time contract. Additionally, you will receive a fixed 13th and 14th month (holiday pay).
• A temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
• An on-call allowance of 7.5% on your gross monthly salary once you start on-call duties.
• A reimbursement of €9.50 for each full day you work in the field. If you work four days or more per week in the field, you will receive a fixed monthly amount of €163.45 net.
• A company vehicle (with tools – no private use allowed), PPE, a tablet, and an iPhone.
• An excellent pension scheme with a small personal contribution of 2.45%.

Over de afdeling

Within Gasunie, the Assets and Operations (North) department is responsible for the management and maintenance of Gasunie's gas transport system. In the Groningen area, you will work in a close-knit and professional team of about 20 colleagues. Together with cathodic protection, E&I, and mechanical technicians, you ensure a safe and reliable gas infrastructure. The lines are short, everyone knows each other, and you can count on the support of a coordinator and a work preparer/planner.
