The Role

As a Duty Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Resolving technical failures, replacing faulty parts, and conducting thorough technical inspections within the hotel.
• Assisting hotel guests with their technical concerns promptly to ensure their comfort.
• Troubleshooting plumbing issues, repairing kitchen equipment, managing various installations, and maintaining lighting systems.
• Supporting ongoing renovation efforts by collaborating with third-party companies for major repairs and conducting preventive maintenance throughout the hotel.

As a Duty Engineer, you will work various 8-hour shifts and report directly to the Engineering Manager.

Our historic building, over 100 years old, offers unique spaces for the engineering team, revealing a captivating behind-the-scenes world beyond guest rooms and public areas. As a small team, we ensure the hotel maintains its pristine appearance, making it look as luxurious and inviting as the day it opened. Our tasks are diverse—one moment you may be working on the pool, the next you could be renovating a complete guest room.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role (preferably in hotels).
• Fundamental knowledge of electrical installations and plumbing.
• Ability to work independently and learn on the job.
• Proficient English language skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts during both days and evenings, on weekdays and weekends.
