The Role

You will be part of our local Scrum team, collaborating with 8 other software teams within a SAFe framework, all working towards a common goal: efficiently bringing new features to market with a focus on innovation. The position is located at our Eindhoven R&D site, the Center of Excellence for Intelligent Audio Solutions, which consists of 25 people and is situated on the campus of Eindhoven University of Technology. Here, you will work in a friendly, close-knit atmosphere while being part of a large global company. Your immediate team consists of 8 diverse individuals who enjoy daily interactions and meetings in the office, while also collaborating closely with departments at our headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark.

Your contributions will be valued as you:

• Develop and implement new algorithms, while refining existing ones.
• Adapt and optimize these algorithms for our ultra-low-power DSP platform.
• Create efficient and maintainable code.
• Test team deliveries to ensure high quality through module tests, unit tests, and electrical input/output tests.
• Investigate and resolve defects found in our platform.
• Translate product requirements into clear development tasks following the agile scrum methodology.
• Provide realistic effort estimates for development tasks.
• Write and maintain concise yet comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, we envision that you:

• Hold a degree in electrical engineering, embedded systems, computer science, physics, or a related technical field.
• Have experience with C, assembly, C#, and Matlab (at least a couple of these).
• Are familiar with signal processing, including fixed-point and floating-point DSP programming; experience in electro-acoustics or psychoacoustics is advantageous.
• Have experience in algorithm design, implementation, or simulation.
• Are skilled in debugging and problem-solving.
• Have experience with Continuous Integration.
• Are familiar with tools like Git, TFS, and Jenkins (or similar).
• Have experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, with SAFe being a valuable addition.
• Are fluent in spoken and written English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

You approach your work systematically, paying attention to detail while meeting deadlines. Your eagerness to learn quickly is matched by your enthusiasm for continuous growth.
