We are seeking a Driver (Yard Supervisor) to join our team in Brunssum, The Netherlands. This role involves performing driving duties, particularly for coaches and passenger transport, while ensuring vehicle maintenance and compliance with safety standards.

Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS) provides a Joint headquarters to plan, prepare, and conduct operations supporting NATO's core tasks at the Joint Operational level. The Management Directorate oversees staffing, workflow, protocol activities, and internal security, while the Base Support Group manages host nation support agreements and internal base services.

De Rol

As a Driver (Yard Supervisor), your daily responsibilities will include:

• Driving various vehicles, especially coaches for passenger transport.
• Conducting pre-use, during-use, and post-use vehicle checks according to maintenance schedules.
• Updating the vehicle fleet database and maintaining running records.
• Reporting vehicle malfunctions and executing first-line maintenance.
• Ensuring vehicle cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle compound.
• Providing monthly time cards for Local Wage Rate (LWR).

Vereisten

Candidates must possess:

• Proficient English and Dutch language skills, both oral and written.
• At least 2 years of professional driving experience, particularly with passenger transport in coaches/buses.
• A valid driver's license for all vehicle types (B, BE, C, CE, D1, D, DE).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaborative IT software.

Gewenste Kwalificaties

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience managing a fleet management database.
• Familiarity with military and multinational environments.
• Forklift truck certification and Dangerous Goods (DG) license (ADR) or awareness training.
• Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Basic German language skills.

Wat Wij Bieden

This full-time position offers:

• A gross monthly starting salary of EUR 3.169,99, with a maximum of EUR 3.996,83.
• Monthly holiday allowance (8% of gross salary) and year-end payment (8.33% of gross salary).
• Participation in a pension plan (currently ABP).
• 184 hours of holiday entitlement per year, increasing with age.

The selected candidate will receive a 2-year definite duration contract with a 2-month probationary period, potentially leading to an indefinite contract. NATO security clearance is required prior to employment.
