We are seeking a Director of Enterprise Data & AI Programs to lead our initiatives in Amsterdam and Eindhoven, Netherlands, in a hybrid work environment. In this senior leadership position, you will define the strategic roadmap for EPAM’s most intricate data and AI programs, ensuring they deliver tangible business value.

The Role

You will act as the primary senior contact for our clients regarding strategy, governance, and outcomes, collaborating with delivery managers and technical leaders to ensure alignment with business objectives. This role does not involve direct design or daily delivery management but emphasizes strategy, relationship management, and ensuring the long-term success of programs through effective governance and commercial alignment.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain the strategic roadmap for large-scale data and AI programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities and value realization.
Serve as a senior escalation and decision-making point regarding program health, risk, and outcomes for executive stakeholders.
Oversee governance frameworks that incorporate data protection, ethical AI practices, and regulatory compliance in program execution.
Review technical strategies from a risk and value perspective, ensuring feasibility without leading detailed solution design.
Establish measurable success metrics that reflect client business objectives, extending beyond traditional delivery milestones.
Shape commercial terms, scope, and delivery models for significant engagements, ensuring proper risk management and margins.
Build and nurture trusted relationships with executive-level client stakeholders and represent programs in governance forums.
Mentor delivery managers and program leads, providing senior advisory support while allowing operational ownership to remain with their teams.
Contribute to business development efforts by supporting bid strategy, shaping deals, and aligning client needs with EPAM capabilities.
