Pax8 is looking for a Director of Academy, EMEA, based in Farnborough, to turn partner learning into measurable commercial momentum across EMEA. Our ambition is no longer simply to deliver learning. You will need to understand how Pax8 creates value, how managed intelligence providers succeed, and where Academy can accelerate growth for both. Using those insights, you will define and execute a regional Academy strategy that focuses on the right partners, the right opportunities, and the outcomes that matter most. Your success will be measured not by training delivered, but by the business results Academy helps create, including partner growth, retention, engagement, and marketplace consumption. What you will make happen

• Define and lead the strategic direction of Pax8 Academy across EMEA, aligning Academy priorities with regional business goals and measurable partner outcomes.
• Shape a unified Academy proposition that brings together learning, advisory services, peer communities, and programme delivery into a seamless partner experience.
• Develop and scale a compelling MSP and MIP enablement offering that helps partners strengthen their businesses, unlock new growth opportunities, and maximise the value of their partnership with Pax8.
• Identify where Academy can have the greatest impact, proactively engaging the right partners at the right time to accelerate growth, capability, and success.
• Demonstrate the commercial value of Academy by connecting activities to partner retention, engagement, marketplace consumption, and long-term business performance.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing team, creating clarity, focus, and accountability while empowering individuals to do their best work.
• Build strong relationships across Partner Experience, Sales, Go-to-Market teams, regional stakeholders, and the global Academy organisation to amplify Academy's influence and impact.
• Manage budgets, resources, and investment decisions, ensuring effort and funding are directed towards the highest-value opportunities.
• Act as a visible ambassador for Pax8 Academy, representing the function through executive discussions, partner events, presentations, digital content, and industry thought leadership.
• Stay close to partner needs, market trends, and industry developments, ensuring Academy remains relevant, differentiated, and focused on delivering meaningful business outcomes.

You will lead the evolution of Academy from a collection of valuable services into a connected proposition that directly supports partner success, business growth, and long-term engagement with Pax8. Rather than measuring activity alone, you will focus on delivering meaningful outcomes by ensuring Academy invests where it can make the greatest difference for partners. Working closely with regional and global stakeholders, you will unite Academy capabilities, strengthen our MIP enablement offering, and demonstrate clear commercial value through partner growth, retention, and marketplace adoption. Success in this role will be defined by a more connected and commercially focused Academy function, a differentiated enablement proposition for our most ambitious partners, and tangible evidence that Academy is helping partners grow stronger businesses with Pax8.

What will help you thrive

• Strong commercial understanding of the MSP and MIP technology channel, or a closely related ecosystem, with a clear grasp of how partners grow, where they face challenges, and what drives sustainable business success.
• A proven ability to lead experienced teams through trust, empowerment, and accountability, creating clarity and direction while preserving autonomy and ownership.
• Experience connecting learning, enablement, or partner development initiatives to measurable business outcomes such as retention, loyalty, engagement, consumption, and revenue growth.
• Sound financial and operational judgement, with experience managing budgets, allocating resources, and making investment decisions that maximise impact and return.
• A track record of transforming, scaling, or repositioning services, programmes, or business functions in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to align regional priorities, global strategy, and partner needs while maintaining momentum and focus.
• A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach, using data and insight to make informed decisions and turning vision into practical execution.
• Curiosity to challenge assumptions, courage to make difficult decisions, and resilience to drive change through complexity and ambiguity.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage senior leaders, partners, and industry audiences.
• A willingness to travel regularly across the United Kingdom and Europe to support partners, teams, and key business initiatives.
