In your role as Director of Housing Construction (Preparation & Production), you will share responsibility for the overall operations and future viability of Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed Utrecht in the Utrecht region. You will report to the CEO and oversee both the preparation (including design & engineering) and production of residential projects (ground-based and stacked) within Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed Utrecht. You will represent the company in dealings with external clients, making you one of the visible faces of our organization.

Your primary goal is to achieve profitable qualitative growth while ensuring the desired continuity of the company. You will continue the path of professionalism and growth within an integrally organized developing builder, further building a well-organized acquisition and production process focused on housing projects.

As part of an ambitious management team, you will translate the company’s strategy into clear objectives. You will clearly and consistently communicate the direction throughout the organization. Collaboration is encouraged, and you will position yourself as a substantive sparring partner for both the management team and colleagues. You will have an impact on the innovation and industrialization strategy and translate this into project realization.

You will coach the business, project leaders, and project managers of housing projects with a focus on quality, continuously ensuring improvement and innovation within the teams. Building long-term relationships with (external) partners is also a key principle. Achieving business goals is paramount, and you will stimulate and further develop the team you work closely with. With your experience, you will further develop self-managing teams in leadership, ownership, and entrepreneurship.

Your experience in the preparation and production of housing projects allows you to accurately assess risks, provide direction, and sense people and situations. You will stay informed about project timelines, enabling effective risk monitoring. The organization is growing, with a solid foundation and exciting ambitions. You will help us take the next qualitative and quantitative step.

Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed Utrecht currently has a turnover of 105 million and employs 100 FTEs. We have strong growth ambitions, with the addition of real estate and area development being a key pillar of the company. For this reason, you will also collaborate closely with the director of real estate development.
