Relocation to the United States — Norfolk, Virginia. We provide the NATO-5 visa. A multinational defense organization is seeking to digitize its capability development work through functional software rather than theoretical studies. This position involves building proofs of concept, prototypes, and operational pilots, iterating them based on user feedback.

You will engage in the rapid hands-on development of digital workflow prototypes and pilots on approved platforms. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating directly with process owners and operational users to understand existing workflows.
• Documenting current and desired workflows in detail, identifying roles, states, decision points, and exchanges.
• Transforming operational needs into minimum viable prototypes that can be quickly built, demonstrated, and iterated.
• Designing and configuring structured data capture, roles, states, business rules, validation, routing, approvals, notifications, and status tracking.
• Integrating prototypes with approved data sources through interfaces, databases, web services, or structured file exchanges.
• Writing lightweight scripts or components when configurable tools alone are insufficient to validate ideas.
• Utilizing approved AI-assisted development tools to enhance prototyping efficiency.
• Conducting user testing and pilots, improving based on observations rather than assumptions.
• Measuring effects against a baseline, including cycle time, manual effort, and data completeness.
• Identifying security, data management, licensing, hosting, and sustainment constraints early in the process.
