Do you want to help better integration of people who applied for asylum, especially mothers?

The Netherlands Red Cross is there for people in need, both locally and globally. We help with compassion and dedication, ensuring that individuals can help themselves and others, so no one is alone in times of need.

Our work is guided by our seven Fundamental Principles: humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity, and universality.

In the Mother Empowerment Program, we assist mothers in asylum shelters to enhance their physical and mental well-being while supporting their integration into Dutch society. We achieve this by offering digital literacy workshops that teach mothers how to effectively use their mobile phones for accessing information and services online, navigating their surroundings, communicating through translation tools, learning the Dutch language, and exploring various online opportunities.

We are currently recruiting Digital Literacy Trainers for the regions South Holland Delta (Rotterdam, Dordrecht, and surrounding areas) and West Netherlands (The Hague, Leiden, and surrounding areas).

• Facilitate digital literacy workshops for small groups living in asylum shelters and partner organizations.
• Contribute to project development discussions.
• Stay informed about current issues affecting vulnerable migrants in the Netherlands and the region.
• Participate in training courses and team meetings for volunteers.
