The Role

As a Digital Communications & Community Management Intern, you will support the Global Leadership Development Team in Amsterdam. You will create engaging digital spaces and content that enhance user experiences for leaders and managers worldwide. This role focuses on communication, design, and community building rather than traditional HR tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain engaging community SharePoint pages and digital communities.
• Develop communication materials, visual content, and campaigns that drive engagement.
• Improve usability, structure, and overall experience of leadership platforms.
• Simplify complex information into clear, attractive, and navigable content.
• Create digital experiences that help leaders quickly find necessary information and resources.
• Support the growth and engagement of leadership communities across the organization.
• Gather user feedback and translate insights into improvements.
• Explore new Microsoft 365 capabilities to enhance communication and collaboration.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Talent, Learning, Communications, and HR teams.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a Bachelor's (HBO) student in Communications, CMD, Creative Business, Digital Media, Marketing & Communications, or a related field.
• Passion for digital communication and storytelling, with a focus on visually appealing and user-friendly content.
• Strong design and usability skills, with curiosity about user interaction with digital platforms.
• Experience or interest in SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
• Proactive and creative mindset, comfortable taking ownership.
• Confident English communication skills.
• Familiarity with Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Teams, or Viva Engage is a plus.
• Available from August/September 2026 to January/February 2027 for 32–40 hours/week.

Notes

• EU students must be registered as students throughout the internship. Documentation may be requested.
• Non-EU students at Dutch universities must also be registered and have the Nuffic Agreement signed by their university. The internship should be compulsory or supported by a signed letter from the university.
