NSC Global is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to enhance our team. We specialize in delivering global network implementation and support solutions to leading organizations, aiming to improve their agility and operational efficiency.

The Role

As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Apple devices, and other authorized applications. Your role will also involve maintaining and repairing computer systems and peripherals, ensuring user accounts are managed securely, and supporting various hardware and software components.

Responsibilities

Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems and peripherals.
Document, upgrade, or replace hardware and software systems.
Support user account management, including rights and security.
Install and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and Apple devices.
Conduct preventative maintenance and remedial repairs on computers and peripherals.
Customize desktop hardware to meet user specifications.
Track hardware and software inventory.
Provide user data and application recovery support.
Use diagnostic tools for troubleshooting network and workstation issues.
Collaborate with vendor support to resolve technical issues.
Monitor and analyze incoming support requests to identify trends.

Requirements

Excellent technical knowledge of PCs and desktop hardware.
Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Apple products, and networking equipment.
Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist certification.
A+ certification preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Nice to Have

Experience with enterprise backup software and remote-control tools.
Familiarity with SMS, AD, and Exchange 2007/2010.
