The Role
In this position, you will manage the Marken warehouse and oversee stock management to ensure efficient operations that meet both client and internal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Accurately scan and register all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Verify incoming shipments against manifests to confirm correct pieces and weights.
- Replenish shipments as needed based on temperature requirements.
- Learn and utilize the Transportation Management System (TMS) to update milestones.
- Create pre-alerts for agents based on location, ensuring all pieces are scanned out and manifested.
- Read temperature monitors and upload temperature data into the Marken TMS.
- Conduct inventory checks and ensure proper handling based on temperature and delivery instructions.
- Escalate inquiries and concerns to senior staff and leadership.
- Safely handle dry ice and manage shipments on hold or not ready to send.
- Complete GxP documentation logs.
- Assist with dispatching and tendering shipments to airlines, including recovery processes.
- Identify products requiring temperature control and manage replenishment needs.
- Prepare temperature-controlled packaging for shipments in a timely manner.
- Organize and maintain adequate supplies of shipping materials.
- Receive, unload, and properly place incoming inventory items.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment daily.
- Ensure compliance with all warehouse safety rules.
- Monitor daily warehouse-related KPIs.
- Clean, condition, and document packaging equipment and components.
- Review documentation, labeling, and markings for each shipment.
- Prepare Next Flight Out shipments and perform other duties as needed to support the Operations Team.
