As a Data Center Technician III, you will install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware such as servers and their components, as well as server software like Google's Linux cluster. Your role will also involve configuring complex components, including networks, routers, hubs, bridges, switches, and networking protocols. You will participate in or lead small project teams for larger installations and develop contingency plans. In the Data Center (DC) Technical Operations, you will execute and complete operational tasks related to deploying and launching new data center infrastructure across various projects. You will apply standard tools, resources, and processes to solve defined problems, utilizing debugging tools and troubleshooting to resolve technical challenges while teaching others. Working collaboratively in a team, you will accomplish project tasks and meet or exceed operational goals for a single data center site. You will have a practical understanding of data center operations in one or more technology domains and will begin to acquire base competency in broader cross-functional data center domains. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on equipment, servers, or infrastructure. You will also engage in community contributions to enhance and sustain our culture and operations.
