Overview As a Microsoft Data Center Technician (DCT), you will learn standard processes for preparing, installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, replacing, and decommissioning equipment under the guidance of experienced colleagues. This role will enhance your understanding of our Data Center environment and familiarize you with security and data management procedures, accelerating your career growth. Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) powers our cloud services. As a CO+I DCT, you will play a vital role in delivering core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services, such as Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. • Assist in issue tracking through escalations, inquiries, and seeking guidance for timely issue resolution from experienced technicians.
• Participate in daily safety briefings and complete required training, ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
• Efficiently complete assigned tickets in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with guidance from other technicians.
• Adhere to security and data management procedures with assistance from other technicians and complete required security training.
• Maintain a strong client focus to understand the impact of your work when completing tasks.
• Foster a positive team environment by sharing information, contributing to team meetings, asking questions, and staying informed about others' work.
