As a Data Center Operations Technician, you will be responsible for executing on-site operations and maintenance tasks in the Data Center (IDC) environment according to client specifications. Your role will involve responding to incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolutions that meet SLA targets. You will monitor the data center environment and systems, proactively identifying risks while conducting routine inspections. In case of emergencies, you will follow established EOP procedures, ensuring accurate reporting and documentation. You will utilize ticketing systems to manage tasks and adhere to SOP workflows with a high level of accuracy and compliance. Additionally, you will support the installation, racking, cabling, and maintenance of IT equipment such as servers and switches, and assist with on-site support activities, site surveys, and basic infrastructure tasks as needed.

Vereisten

• Opleiding: Diploma of higher in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
• Ervaring: Basic understanding of data center operations or IT infrastructure. Experience in IT support, hardware maintenance, or a data center environment is advantageous.
• Technische Vaardigheden: Basic knowledge of IT hardware (servers, network devices, cabling), familiarity with ticketing systems and operational processes (SOP/EOP), and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Kerncompetenties: Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work in a shift-based environment, good communication skills with clear and logical expression, team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills, and ability to strictly follow processes while maintaining high accuracy.
