The Role

Are you passionate about optimizing processes in a dynamic direct-to-consumer (DTC) environment? We are seeking a Marketing Project Manager to oversee all marketing workflows, manage ClickUp boards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), reporting, and execution across various teams including Creative, CRO, Performance, Ecommerce, and Retention. This role serves as the operational backbone of our marketing department, ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely delivery of all marketing outputs.

The Role

In this full-time contractor position, you will work closely with the CMO to bring structure, discipline, and flow to the marketing organization. Your focus will be on scoping tasks, maintaining clean workflows, honoring deadlines, and ensuring that marketing projects progress consistently and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Own all Marketing ClickUp boards (Creative, CRO, Weekly Ops).
  • Transform Monday Sprint Meetings into structured tasks with clear assignees, deadlines, priorities, and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain ClickUp hygiene, including naming conventions, statuses, dependencies, tags, and automations.
  • Ensure correct usage of ClickUp by the team, converting Slack requests into tasks and removing outdated tasks to keep boards accurate and reliable.
  • Run weekly marketing sprints and maintain flow across all pipelines.
  • Track daily progress, rebalance workloads, and eliminate blockers.
  • Consistently follow up on overdue tasks and keep deadlines in focus for all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate priorities among Creative, Paid Media, CRO, Ecommerce, and Retention teams.
  • Lead or document weekly editor/production check-ins and escalate bottlenecks to the CMO with proposed solutions.
  • Ensure all briefs are complete before execution and maintain the Marketing SOP Library (templates, checklists, workflows).
  • Support onboarding of new marketing hires into ClickUp and sprint processes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Project Management, or similar roles within a DTC eCommerce environment.
  • Advanced ClickUp user with experience in building systems from scratch.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on deadlines, structure, and accountability.
  • Experience working with creative, editing, or production teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Strong communication skills, thriving in a fast-paced, high-output environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in DTC subscription brands, performance marketing teams, creative pipelines, or CRO operations.

  • 60 Days: Sprints run smoothly, tasks are completed on time, bottlenecks decrease, and the scorecard is accurate.
  • 90 Days: Marketing operations are fully systemized, allowing the team to execute faster, deliver more consistently, and run workflows without friction.
