The Role

In this pivotal role, you will help develop our next-generation EV charging solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure our testing environment remains current with the latest features, standards, and compliance requirements. You will oversee the construction, enhancement, and maintenance of our comprehensive EV test platform, which includes:

• Self-built and maintained vehicle simulators.
• Multiple parking lots equipped with over 50 chargers for continuous testing.
• Nightly and weekend regression setups.
• Extended system test setups. Additionally, you will validate system requirements for various products through automated testing, assist the firmware team in developing automated tests, and drive continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the system test framework to accommodate all necessary equipment.
• Create and maintain regression tests for the charging platform using Python.
• Collaborate with software teams and stakeholders to ensure test quality and coverage.
• Implement continuous improvements in processes, tools, and development practices.
• Potentially contribute to existing or new product features using C/C++.
• Ensure our software and hardware maintain the highest reliability standards for our customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Relevant experience as a Software Test Engineer, particularly on Linux.
• Proven ability to apply engineering principles and programming skills to develop software solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++.
• Familiarity with embedded build platforms (Yocto).
• Experience with administrative and CI/CD tools (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira).
• Background in software development for automotive/EV/ISO15118 is advantageous.
• Comfortable working in a Scrum/Agile environment.
• A proactive team player who thrives in multidisciplinary and multicultural settings.
• Strong sense of ownership and a hands-on approach to driving improvements.
