The Role

We are seeking a Canteen Chef who has a passion for good food and enjoys working in a kitchen that operates on regular hours. You will be responsible for transforming simple ingredients into delightful meals for our staff, ensuring they receive the best culinary experience possible.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve fresh, delicious lunches for our team.
• Create healthy, seasonal, and comforting dishes, including a mix of classics and vegetarian options.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and lively kitchen environment.
• Focus on honest, well-prepared food without pretentious plating.

Requirements

• Experience as a chef, cook, or in a professional kitchen (canteen experience is a significant advantage).
• Passion for cooking and serving food to others.
• Ability to work independently and manage the kitchen effectively.
• Commitment to quality, sustainability, and minimizing food waste.
• Proficiency in English (Dutch is a bonus, but not required).
