This is an excellent opportunity for a Customs Supervisor, Team Leader, or Senior Customs Specialist looking to advance their leadership career in a global logistics environment.
Your Responsibilities as Customs Operations Team Leader:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of customs professionals.
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of customs activities, including declarations and bonded warehouse administration.
- Monitor operational performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Act as Key User for customs software systems, coordinating reporting, reconciliations, and customs-related payments.
- Ensure compliance with customs legislation, VAT regulations, internal policies, and customer requirements.
- Support internal and external audits, including AEO-related activities.
- Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage direct and indirect representation agreements, including annual reviews.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, customs authorities, and governmental agencies.
- Collaborate closely with the Customs Manager Netherlands on process improvements, projects, and strategic initiatives.
