De Rol: As the Customs Operations Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of customs professionals.
- Ensuring the precise and timely execution of customs activities, including declarations and bonded warehouse management.
- Monitoring operational performance and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
- Acting as Key User for customs software systems, coordinating reporting, reconciliations, and customs-related payments.
- Ensuring compliance with customs legislation, VAT regulations, internal policies, and customer requirements.
- Supporting internal and external audits, including AEO-related activities.
- Identifying operational risks and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
- Managing direct and indirect representation agreements, including annual reviews.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, customs authorities, and governmental agencies.
- Collaborating closely with the Customs Manager Netherlands on process improvements, projects, and strategic initiatives.
